My name is Chloe Cole. I'm a detransitioner. And I have a trial date.

At 12, a doctor told my parents I was at risk of suicide without immediate treatment. I wasn't suicidal.

At 13, I started testosterone injections I was told were reversible. They weren't.

At 15, a surgeon at a Kaiser facility removed my breasts before I was old enough to fully understand and give informed consent.

At 16 — after all of it — I became suicidal for the first time. The outcome they promised to prevent.

I still manage complications from that surgery today. The doctors have never once reached out.

There was no jury. No verdict. No accountability. Until now.

The Center for American Liberty took my case. Kaiser tried secret arbitration. The courts said no. On January 30, 2026, the first detransitioner malpractice jury in American history sided with us.

My trial is next. April 5, 2027.
